Heidelberg - This pilot project of the Elisabeth-von-Thadden-Gymnasium should set a precedent!
A surprise awaited the approximately 200 students of the final years 11 and 12 upon their return - two disinfection robots! The devices are located at the entrance and exit of the school and should help to better enforce the hygiene rules.
School headmaster Martin Döpp (59) explains: "The screen is operated by hand gestures in the air, thus enabling interaction without touching. A virtual doctor explains how to disinfect the hands properly and invites people to participate. In addition, there are several fields that can be called up to find out about the virus."
By the way: A disinfection machine will also be installed in Heidelberg City Hall on Wednesday.
